Integrating with Telegram
To integrate your AI agent with Telegram, please follow the steps outlined below:
Go to the Channels section in the Floatbot dashboard.
Select Telegram as the desired channel.
Enter your Telegram Bot Token to authenticate.
Choose the AI agent you wish to connect with Telegram, then click the Add button.
Upon completing these steps, your Telegram channel integration will be successfully established.
How to Get the Telegram BOT token
To get a Telegram bot ID, you can use the @BotFather contact in Telegram to create a new bot and get its API token:
Open Telegram and search for @BotFather
Start a conversation with @BotFather
Type /newbot to create a new bot
Follow the instructions to name and choose a username for your bot
@BotFather will provide you with a unique API token
Click on API Token and copy it
You can also use @BotFather to find an existing bot ID by typing /mybots.
