Contact List

The Contact List section allows you to upload a CSV file containing your contacts for launching SMS, WhatsApp, or Voice campaigns. It is essential to ensure that the contact list is formatted correctly before uploading. The column headers in the CSV must match the exact field names used by the bot to ensure seamless integration and accurate data mapping.

For e.g.: If your Voice/SMS/WhatsApp campaign requires few dynamic variables for Name and the Email, and for these 2 values the parameters you have used within the Workflow are “fullName” and “userEmail” then the headers on the CSV should be mapped in the same way. The first column of the CSV should contain the Phone number to which the SMS/Call/Message needs to be sent and the header value for this column should be “sys_phone”. The phone number should be present with the country code.

Now that you're familiar with the rules for creating a CSV file compatible with Floatbot's Campaign Manager, let's go through the steps to upload your CSV:

  1. Navigate to the Contact List under the Campaign Manager section.
  2. Click on Add Contact List.
  3. Name your contact list to easily identify it later.
  4. Select the appropriate CSV file from your system.
  5. Click Save to upload the contact list.

Once the list is successfully uploaded, it will be visible in the dashboard. You can review the uploaded contacts, and if needed, individual contacts can be deleted post-upload.
