Integrating with Voice Channels

In this section, we will cover how to integrate a phone number with your AI agent. Floatbot offers direct integration with CCaaS solutions like Twilio and Plivo. You can easily link your Twilio or Plivo mobile numbers for both text and voice communication within this interface.

Installing Twilio and Assigning Numbers to AI Agent

Before integrating your Twilio mobile number, you will need to obtain the Account SID and Auth Token, which can be found in your Twilio dashboard.

You can go to the Channels section on the Account dashboard and can click on Phone section to integrate the Phone number to your AI Agent. If a Twilio account is already integrated to your account, then you would see a dropdown with different numbers as shown in the screenshot below.

Enabling Numbers for Inbound/Outbound Calls

Once the Twilio number is connected, you can use it for Inbound or Outbound calls. You just need to toggle the required option while connecting the phone number.

Uninstalling Twilio and adding New Account

By now, you should be familiar with how to integrate your Twilio numbers with the AI agent. If you need to uninstall or disconnect Twilio from your account, or if you want to add another Twilio number, you can do so by following the process to uninstall Twilio from your account. Please refer to the video below for detailed instructions.
